Deep Calls Unto Deep: Why Parables Cannot Be Explained
I saw a parable of myself outside of myself.
At the end of the Parable of the Sower, Jesus poignantly says,
“Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable?”
Somehow, Jesus ties our ability to understand any parable to whether we truly grasp the Parable of the Sower—not merely with our minds, but inwardly, in our spirit.
