What is home? In many Slavic languages, the word for “home” (дом in Russian) comes from a Proto-Indo-European root that means “to build,” “to create, “to make.” The same root is present in the English word domicile or domestic. But how do you build a home? We all know how to build a house. But building a home is something different.
