wow, this is only from yesterday??? i've been meditating on this heavily as if it's been daaaays and weeks.

this is the surrender to each other to our Other, our partner, that we long for but we are afraid to die alone blah blah blah. i guess we're afraid to CARE to grieve to lose.

i've been thinking of this surrender thing because our understanding of surrender i think is upside down. it's a sack of potatoes letting go and dropping all limp. surrender has been twisted because of a culture a world on power trips.

but once you've surrendered... WHAT POWER TRIPS??? this is all there is.

it's hard to live open like this. people think when you're most with God you're a Stepford Wife all blank and blissy. i think it's paying attention to the Other's eyes. the moment. trying to bring your most to it as you can.

again, i also speak in vague metaphors, too.

but we WANT to surrender but it's sold as the sucker's position, when the cold uncaring detached position is so borrrring and lame. no fun. no God in it.

surrender...forgiveness... love. all words that are Rashomon.

your work runs alongside the unspoken quiet thoughts of so many of as if you KNOW what to talk about next. lots of trippy cool stuff is happening like that. it's getting to be normal again.

whew. i don't have to worry so much.

i'll ... SURRENDER!

(rim shot)

thanks.

Thanks, Erika. I am surrendering too. Hard at times, but worth it.

I love this. So inspiring and interesting to me as an artist discovering ways of expressing. Joy of playing and total freedom of expression. The word Metanoia is beautiful. Thank you.

How often you take my words (though doubtful you read them) and make them more precious. That is to say, once more we are on the same page of this Book of Life, and I am grateful to you! The truth of our current place in the Universe - it's all about falling up! It's why I write! You just set the bar higher. A personal challenge for me to rise. I love flying! No plane...just lift off, hoping to carry as many as I can with me. Blessings, Eugene...🕊🕊🕊
